We invite and encourage all Miami Shores and surrounding area educational and religious institutions, non-profits and community service organizations to participate with us. There are no fees to join, no paperwork to fill out or strenuous responsibilities of time. There are some commitments we do ask all partners make:
We request that your organization choose a primary and secondary person as your representatives. It is best if the primary contact attend all scheduled meetings but when not available the secondary would fill in. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month September through May at the Miami Shores Community Center beginning at 8am ending by 9am. A light breakfast is provided by one of our partners who also provides an inspirational message and speaks about their organization’s current endeavors. We also ask all partners take their turn in sponsoring the monthly breakfast.
There are partnership benefits and the primary one is creating synergistic relationships that benefit your organization and our village. All partners are also invited to request Grants for projects that provide a positive impact on our community at large.
